APS-C macro lens with 2X magnification

The Venus Laowa 65mm f/2.8 2X Ultra Macro APO is built for Sony E-mount APS-C cameras and delivers 2:1 life-size magnification. It focuses from infinity down to a minimum distance of 6.69 inches (17cm), covering a wider range than typical 1.5X macro lenses. The 14-element, 10-group APO design controls chromatic aberration for sharp, detailed close-ups.

Compact build with 52mm filter thread

The lens is described as remarkably light and compact, making it practical for field macro work, daily stills and portraiture. A 52mm front thread accepts standard filters and the included ProOptic filter kit. The aperture spans f/2.8 to f/22, giving flexibility for low-light shooting or extended depth of field at high magnification.

Bundle adds protection and cleaning gear

The package includes a ProOptic 52mm filter kit, a cleaning kit, a lens cap tether and lens cleaner. These accessories protect the front element, keep optics clear during outdoor sessions and reduce the chance of losing the cap while changing magnification. No software or electronic accessories are mentioned.
