A full-frame zoom fisheye delivering a 180-degree circular view at 8mm and a constant f/2.8 aperture for low-light and creative depth control
The Venus Optics Laowa 8-15mm f/2.8 FF Zoom Fisheye covers full-frame sensors with a dual fisheye effect. At 8mm it projects a 180-degree circular view, while 15mm fills the frame with a diagonal fisheye. The constant f/2.8 aperture supports low-light work and 360-degree panorama creation for photographers and content creators.
This lens uses the Canon RF mount and operates with manual focus only. A 70-degree focus throw gives precise control, but there is no autofocus motor. Confirm that your RF body can record aperture data from a manual lens and that you are comfortable focusing without electronic assistance.
As a passive optical device the lens draws no electrical power and produces no fan noise. Its 13-element, 9-group construction handles normal temperature variation without active cooling. Heat buildup is not a concern during extended video or stills sessions, and the mechanical aperture ring operates silently.

The lens ships with front and rear caps; the ultra-wide 180-degree fisheye design at 8mm means there is no front filter thread, so screw-on filters cannot be attached.
At 8mm the lens delivers a 180-degree angle of view that creates a circular fisheye image on full-frame sensors; zooming to 15mm fills the frame with a diagonal fisheye instead.
The constant f/2.8 aperture across the 8-15mm range provides bright, consistent exposure for low-light scenes such as astrophotography, while the 70-degree focus throw allows precise manual focus on stars.
