Full-frame zoom fisheye covering 8-15 mm with constant f/2.8 aperture and 180° angle of view
The Laowa 8-15mm f/2.8 is a full-frame fisheye zoom built for Nikon Z mirrorless cameras. It offers a versatile 8-15mm focal range with a constant f/2.8 aperture for low-light shooting. The optical design uses 13 elements in 9 groups to deliver sharpness across the frame. It suits photographers and creators wanting immersive 180-degree perspectives.
This lens uses the Nikon Z mount and covers full-frame sensors only; it is not designed for DX crop bodies. Focus is entirely manual with a 70-degree focus throw for precise adjustments. There are no electronic contacts for autofocus or aperture control from the camera body. Buyers needing autofocus or electronic EXIF data should consider alternative lenses.
The all-metal barrel houses 13 elements in 9 groups without internal motorisation, keeping operation silent. Manual aperture and focus rings turn smoothly without click stops for video work. The constant f/2.8 aperture maintains exposure throughout the zoom range. The lens accepts rear gel filters only due to the bulbous front element.

The lens is supplied new with front and rear caps included; no separate purchase is required for basic protection.
At 8 mm the lens produces a 180 degree circular fisheye on full frame; zooming to 15 mm fills the frame with a diagonal fisheye instead.
The f/2.8 aperture stays bright across the 8-15 mm range, letting you keep shutter speeds usable in low light without raising ISO.
