SKU CH-V71H-MDPXS

Four T2.9 anamorphic primes with a constant 1.5x squeeze cover full-frame sensors via PL and EF mounts

  • Constant 1.5× squeeze for a pronounced cinematic look
  • Covers full-frame with 44.71 mm image circle, no vignetting
  • Consistent oval bokeh across the frame, no moon-shaped distortion
  • Four focal lengths — 32, 42, 55, 85 mm — in one kit
  • T2.9 aperture across the set for uniform exposure

Four focal-length cinema kit

This bundle contains four Laowa Nanomorph LF prime lenses with focal lengths of 32mm, 42mm, 55mm and 85mm. Each lens maintains a constant T2.9 aperture and a 1.5x squeeze ratio. The set is built for PL-mount and Canon EF-mount cinema cameras. It targets filmmakers who need a matched anamorphic package for narrative production.

Full-frame coverage under continuous use

The 44.71mm image circle covers sensors larger than full-frame, including ARRI Alexa LF 4.5K Open Gate, without vignetting or cropping. Consistent 1.5x squeeze produces a 2.66:1 aspect ratio from 16:9 sensors, delivering stronger anamorphic character than 1.33x designs. Bokeh stays round across the frame during extended takes, avoiding the moon-shaped distortion common on lesser anamorphics.

Mount and sensor-format check

Verify that your camera body accepts PL or Canon EF mount lenses before ordering. Confirm the sensor diagonal fits within the 44.71mm image circle to prevent vignetting. Ensure your workflow can de-squeeze 1.5x footage to the desired 2.4:1, 2.25:1, 2.66:1 or 2:1 delivery ratios. Buyers needing spherical lenses or different mount systems should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the 1.5 x squeeze anamorphic design generate during all-day filming?

The lenses are passive optical instruments with no electronics, so they produce no measurable heat during extended use.

Which camera mount must I already own for the PL and EF versions in this bundle to attach?

You need a camera body with either an Arri PL mount or a Canon EF mount to use the included lenses.

Will the 44.71 mm image circle cover the sensor on my older full-frame cinema camera?

Yes, the 44.71 mm image circle covers full-frame sensors and formats such as ARRI Alexa LF 4.5K Open Gate without vignetting.
