Venus Optics Laowa Pro2be 24mm T8 2x Macro Probe 3-Lens Kit PL-Mount

Pro2be 24mm T8 Macro Probe Kit

The Venus Optics Laowa Pro2be kit is a specialised macro probe lens system built for PL-mount cinema cameras. It serves cinematographers and macro specialists who need to film extreme close-ups in tight or unconventional spaces. The three-lens configuration provides distinct optical paths for creative flexibility.

T8 Aperture With 2x Magnification

A maximum aperture of T8 combines with 2x magnification to deliver detailed macro imagery. The 35-degree tilt lens expands compositional options for high-angle and top-down perspectives. Waterproofing extends 36.6 cm from the tip, allowing submersion for aquatic or wet-environment work. The fixed T8 aperture limits low-light capability compared to faster macro lenses.

Tubular Barrel Design For PL Systems

The smartly-twisted tubular barrels enable precise positioning around obstacles and inside confined sets. PL-mount compatibility integrates directly with professional cinema camera bodies and motion-control rigs. No electronic contacts are described, so focus and iris control remain fully manual. The kit frees operators from conventional macro working distances but requires ample scene lighting due to the T8 transmission value.
