The VERACITY Highwire Powerstar enables IP camera installations over existing cabling. It removes the need to pull new network or power lines to each camera location. This device server suits installers upgrading legacy analogue systems or deploying cameras where conduit space is limited. It delivers both data and power through a single legacy cable.

Single-Cable Deployment

The unit fits between the network switch and the camera, converting standard Ethernet into a PoE feed over the installed wire. It frees up budget and labour otherwise spent on re-cabling walls or ceilings. No separate power supply is required at the camera end. The solution works where new Category-rated cable cannot be routed.
