32GB USB 2.0 metal drive

The Verbatim 98749 is a 32GB USB 2.0 flash drive with a metal executive casing. It provides portable storage for documents, photos and other files. The drive suits users who need a compact, durable way to move data between computers. Its plug-and-play design works without extra software.

Upgrade from smaller USB 2.0 drives

This model replaces lower-capacity USB 2.0 sticks when 32GB of space is required. The jump is worth it if current drives fill up during regular file transfers. Buyers who need faster write speeds or a newer USB standard will not find those improvements here.

Steady file transfers on USB 2.0

Under sustained load the drive operates at USB 2.0 interface speeds. Transfer rates remain consistent for the duration of large copies rather than peaking briefly. Thermal throttling is not a concern with this capacity and interface combination. The metal housing helps dissipate heat during extended use.
