VeriFone Purple Multiport Ethernet Cable

The VeriFone Purple Multiport Ethernet Cable is a dedicated interconnect for VeriFone MX8xx and MX9xx payment terminals. It carries both USB and IEEE 1394 signals to the host system. The cable is supplied new and matches part number 24173-02-R.

Suited for technicians servicing MX850 MX860 MX870

This cable fits the listed VeriFone terminals that require the purple multiport Ethernet connection. It is not for devices that use a different connector pinout or a purely USB interface. Buyers who need a standard Ethernet patch cord or a generic USB cable should look at something else.

Two metre length provides desk-side reach

The 2 metre Green variant CBL-23740-02 gives enough slack for countertop routing between terminal and host. It handles the combined USB and IEEE 1394 traffic specified for the MX series. It runs out when the installation demands a longer run or a different connector gender.
