Wall-plate connectivity

The Vertical Gold Plated HDMI and 2 RCA Decora wall plate provides a single HDMI port plus dual RCA audio inputs in a standard white Decora form factor. It is intended for residential or light-commercial installations that need a clean, in-wall termination point for HDMI video and analogue audio signals.

Capacity and headroom

The plate carries one HDMI female-to-female feed-through and two RCA female-to-female connectors, so it handles a single high-definition video link plus stereo audio without additional adapters. It does not support multiple HDMI sources, component video, digital audio formats or any networking functions, so installations requiring those signals need separate plates or a different distribution method.

Bundled hardware impact

Included inner and outer faceplates, the 180-degree feed-through connectors and mounting screws let the installer finish the job in a standard electrical box without sourcing extra parts. The horizontal cable drop orientation reduces strain on patch cables behind the wall, while the gold-plated contacts resist corrosion for long-term signal integrity. No software, drivers or active electronics are supplied or required.

Questions about this item

Will the 180 degree feed-thru orientation work with the HDMI cables I already have installed in the wall?

The 180 degree internal connector provides a horizontal cable drop, so existing in-wall HDMI cables can connect without sharp bends.

How can I verify the gold plated connectors are making proper contact after installation?

Connect a source and display to the HDMI port and audio devices to the RCA ports; a stable picture and clear sound confirm the female-to-female links are seated correctly.

Does the package include the inner faceplate, outer faceplate, feed-thru connectors and mounting screws for a complete install?

Yes, the box contains inner and outer faceplates, the feed-thru connectors and screws; no extra parts are required for a standard wall mount.
