Vestil TOE-B-84-N Toe Board 80-5/8 in Yellow Steel

SKU CH-V20M-8SCHX

Yellow steel toe board measuring 80-5/8 inches overall length with four mounting holes and included brackets

  • Yellow powder-coat finish resists corrosion on steel construction
  • 80 5/8 in overall length spans wide openings with included brackets
  • Four 7/16 in x 7/8 in mounting holes simplify secure attachment
  • 4 in height meets toe-board requirements for handrail systems
  • Designed for SQ-84 and SQ-84-TB handrail components

Toe Board for SQ-84 Handrails

This yellow steel toe board measures 80 5/8 inches overall and mounts directly to the SQ-84 or SQ-84-TB handrail system. Four mounting holes sized 7/16 by 7/8 inches secure the four-inch-high barrier to the structure. The component is designed for industrial and commercial safety installations where toe protection is required along elevated walkways or platforms. Builders needing a different length or a handrail without toe-board provisions cannot use this part.

Steel Construction Resists Impact

The all-steel body withstands repeated foot traffic and incidental impacts without bending or cracking. Yellow powder coating provides high visibility in low-light conditions while protecting the metal from corrosion in indoor or covered outdoor environments. No moving parts or mechanical joints mean the board adds negligible weight to the handrail assembly and requires no lubrication or adjustment after installation. The rigid profile maintains its shape under normal occupational loads.

Brackets Included for Immediate Mounting

Supplied brackets match the four pre-drilled holes so installers can fasten the board to compatible handrail posts without fabricating custom hardware. The 7/16 by 7/8 inch slot pattern accommodates standard bolts and allows slight lateral alignment during fit-up. No additional fasteners, sealants or tools beyond basic wrenches are specified by the manufacturer. Projects using non-Vestil handrail models will need separate bracket engineering.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 80-5/8 in steel toe board and which step is most often missed?

Bolt the included brackets through the four 7/16 in x 7/8 in mounting holes; the step most often missed is confirming the holes line up with the SQ-84 or SQ-84-TB handrail posts before tightening.

What maintenance or replacement will the yellow steel toe board need over time?

Inspect the powder-coated finish annually for chips or rust; touch up any bare steel and replace the board if corrosion reduces the 4 in height or compromises the bracket attachment points.

What limit appears first when the toe board is under sustained foot traffic and impact?

The 7/16 in mounting holes can elongate under repeated heavy loads, so the fastener connection typically reaches its limit before the 80-5/8 in steel span itself.
