1/2" Flat Face Hydraulic Couplers

Two pairs of ISO 16028 flat face couplers connect hydraulic lines on skid steer loaders and similar equipment. The 1/2 inch NPT threads on both male and female halves allow direct installation without adapters. Hardened carbon steel construction with chrome plating resists wear in demanding environments. Dust caps protect the sealing surfaces when disconnected.

Rated 12 GPM continuous with 25 GPM maximum

The couplers handle a continuous flow of 12 GPM and peak flows up to 25 GPM at 5076 psi. This capacity suits most skid steer hydraulic circuits and auxiliary attachments. Systems requiring sustained flow above 12 GPM will exceed the rated continuous limit. The flat face design minimises fluid loss and air inclusion during connection cycles.

Sleeve locking with 1/2" NPT threads

A push to connect sleeve locking mechanism enables one handed operation without tools. The 1/2 inch NPT internal threads on both coupler halves match standard hydraulic hose ends. Four rubber dust caps seal the ports against contamination during storage. Buyers needing larger body sizes or different thread standards cannot use this kit.

Questions about this item

Will these 1/2" NPT flat-face couplers thread directly onto the existing hoses on my older skid steer?

Both male and female halves use 1/2" NPT internal threads, so they will mate with any hose or adapter that has a matching 1/2" NPT external thread.

How can I confirm the sleeve-lock mechanism is engaging properly after I push the couplers together?

Push until the sleeve clicks forward and the locking groove is fully covered; the flat faces should be flush with no gap visible.

The listing mentions four dust caps — are the two coupler pairs and all four caps the only items in the box?

Yes, the package contains two male couplers, two female couplers and four red rubber dust caps; no seals, thread tape or adapters are included.
