Chamber Capacity and Build

The 1.5 gallon stainless steel chamber resists warping under vacuum while the acrylic lid provides full visibility of the degassing process. A four stage copper motor drives the 3.5 CFM pump to a 5 Pa ultimate vacuum for thorough air removal. The kit includes pump, chamber, lid, gauge, valve, hose, silicone pad, oil and tools.

Upgrade From Smaller Degassing Setups

This kit replaces hand held degassers or smaller jars that cannot reach 5 Pa or hold larger resin batches. The jump is worth it when bubble free results are required for professional resin, silicone or epoxy work and when extended runs demand the built in cooling fan. Note the supplier states it is not suitable for wood stabilization.

Volume Headroom and Practical Limits

The 5.68 litre chamber handles typical resin casting volumes with room for expansion during degassing. It runs out when parts exceed the internal diameter or when continuous high throughput exceeds the 3.5 CFM displacement rate. The 0.27 quart oil capacity and 260 ml fill volume set the maintenance interval for the pump.
