Rack-Mount Power Distribution
The VEVOR 1U PDU fits a standard 19-inch server rack and provides eight NEMA 5-15R outlets for connected equipment. It accepts AC input between 110 and 125 volts at 60 hertz and supports a maximum output current of 15 amps. The unit mounts in a single rack unit and includes four screws for installation.
Integrated Protection and Switch
A built-in surge protector rated at 1800 joules absorbs voltage spikes, while an external resettable breaker cuts power during overloads or short circuits. An integrated switch controls all eight outlets simultaneously with one touch. The package includes a user manual along with the mounting hardware.
Pre-Installation Checks
Verify that your rack uses 19-inch mounting rails and has 1U of free vertical space. Confirm that the facility supply voltage falls within the 110 to 125 volt range and that the total connected load will not exceed 15 amps. Ensure each device uses a compatible NEMA 5-15P plug for the outlets provided.

Questions about this item
Will the 1800 J surge protector need replacing after a big spike?
The 1800 J MOV absorbs surges until its energy budget is exhausted; a massive hit can degrade it, so plan to swap the unit if the protection indicator goes out or after a known lightning event.
What trips first when the rack draws close to 15 A continuously?
The external resettable breaker opens at 15 A, cutting power before the 15 A cord or outlets overheat.
How hot or loud does the strip get when all eight outlets run all day?
No fan is fitted, so it runs silent; warmth stays low unless you approach the 15 A limit, at which point the metal chassis may feel warm.
