This 200A spool gun connects to compatible Weldpro MIG200GDsv200 and MIG155GD machines. It accepts 0.030" and 0.035" flux-cored, solid and aluminium wires on 1 lb spools. The 10 ft cable gives reach around a workpiece while the transparent feed window lets you watch wire movement. At 4.9 lbs it stays light during long sessions.

Upgrade from Fixed Torch

A fixed MIG torch struggles with soft aluminium wire and long feed paths. This gun puts the drive rolls at the gun so wire travels only inches, cutting bird-nesting and letting you run aluminium without a push-pull system. The jump is worth it when you weld aluminium regularly or need to reach tight joints that a heavy torch cannot enter.

Capacity and Headroom

Rated at 200A, the gun handles thin-sheet auto panels and medium structural work with 0.030" or 0.035" wire. It feeds 1 lb spools, so you reload often on big jobs. The 10 ft cable limits distance from the power source, and the 200A ceiling means thick plate or high-deposition passes need a larger gun or a different process.
