Five 1000 mm 2040 extrusion rails

This pack contains five anodised 6063-T5 aluminium profiles, each 1000 mm long with a 20 mm by 40 mm cross-section. The European-standard T-slot accepts M4, M5 and M6 nuts for modular framing. Condition is new.

Suits DIY frames and linear motion

Builders of 3D printers, CNC routers or laser engravers gain a corrosion-resistant, burr-free foundation that needs no welding. Projects requiring integrated nuts and bolts or a different profile series should look elsewhere.

Check slot compatibility and mounting plan

Verify that your design uses M4, M5 or M6 T-slot hardware and that 20 mm by 40 mm rails fit the intended structure. The package includes a user manual but no fasteners, so source nuts, brackets and bolts separately.

Questions about this item

Which T-slot nuts fit the 2040 profile grooves?

The grooves accept M4, M5 and M6 T-slot nuts, so you can choose the thread size that matches your project hardware.

Will the 4.2 mm centre hole align with my existing M4 or M5 fasteners?

The 4.2 mm centre hole clears M4 bolts and is a close fit for M5, letting you reuse common metric fasteners with the new rails.

How can I verify the rails are dimensionally correct after cutting or assembly?

Measure each piece against the 1000 mm length, 20 mm width and 40 mm height; the anodized surfaces should be smooth and free of burrs.
