30-Amp 25-Foot Generator Cord

This 25-foot NEMA 6-50 extension cord is rated for 30 amps at 250 volts and delivers up to 7500 watts. It uses 8AWG pure copper conductors with STW insulation and includes a storage bag and cable tie. The cord suits generator owners who need reliable outdoor power for welders, RVs or other high-draw equipment.

Check Compatibility Before Ordering

Verify that both your generator outlet and the device inlet use NEMA 6-50 connectors rated for 30 amps at 250 volts. Confirm the 25-foot length reaches your intended placement without excess slack. Ensure the operating environment stays within the -20 to 60 °C range and that the 12.34 lb weight is manageable for your setup.

Replaces Lighter or Shorter Cables

This cord upgrades from lower-gauge or shorter leads that cannot sustain 30 amps continuously. The jump is worth it when your current cable overheats, drops voltage or limits generator placement. It is not for users who need a different plug type, a higher amperage rating or a length other than 25 feet.
