SKU CH-YR6D-8ENNB

A 36-inch commercial air curtain blocks 90% of outside air, dust and insects with two-speed airflow up to 15 m/s and automatic limit-switch operation

  • Blocks 90 % of outside air, dust and insects with galvanised or aluminium housing
  • Two-speed low/off/high switch lets you match airflow to door traffic
  • Delivers 577–668 CFM at 13–15 m/s while staying below 60 dB
  • Two limit switches trigger automatic on/off with door movement for 7 000-hour life
  • Mounting plate with pre-drilled holes enables quick 110 V installation

36-Inch Commercial Air Curtain

The VEVOR 36-inch commercial air curtain creates an invisible barrier across doorways to keep conditioned air inside while blocking dust, insects, and smoke. It is built for retail, restaurant, or warehouse entrances that need climate separation without a physical door. Galvanized or aluminium alloy construction with powder coating resists corrosion in demanding environments.

Airflow Capacity and Operational Limits

The unit delivers 577 to 668 CFM at wind speeds of 13 to 15 m/s, drawing 337 to 378 W on a 110 V supply. Noise stays below 60 dB, and the motor is rated for 7000 hours of continuous operation. Two-speed control lets you match output to traffic levels, but the curtain cannot seal against extreme pressure differentials or replace a solid door for security.

Automatic Door-Linked Activation

Two included limit switches mount on the door frame to start the curtain when the door opens and stop it when the door closes. This hands-free operation saves energy and extends motor life by running only when needed. Installations without a compatible door swing or those requiring remote or timer-based control will not benefit from this feature.

Questions about this item

Will the 36" air curtain work with my existing 110V door wiring and limit-switch setup?

Yes, the unit runs on 110V/60Hz and includes two limit switches that install on the door to trigger the curtain automatically when the door opens or closes.

How can I verify the 577-668 CFM airflow and sub-60 dB noise level after mounting?

Feel for strong, even airflow across the doorway at both low and high speeds; the motor should run continuously without rattling, and a handheld sound meter at working distance should read below 60 dB.

Does the box include everything needed to mount and wire the curtain, or must I buy brackets or switches separately?

The package supplies the air curtain, a mounting plate with pre-drilled holes, and two limit switches; no extra brackets or switches are required for standard installation.
