  • 5 mm galvanised steel bracket resists corrosion

6 x 2 Inch Polyurethane Caster Set

This VEVOR pack contains four 6 inch by 2 inch caster wheels built with polyurethane tread on an iron core and a 5.5 mm galvanised steel top plate. Two rigid units track straight while two swivel units rotate 360 degrees, and each swivel wheel includes a side lock brake. The top plate measures 4.5 by 4 by 0.2 inch with four mounting holes for secure fastening.

Workshops and Heavy Equipment Movers

The 1000 lbs per wheel rating suits industrial carts, machinery dollies and heavy workbenches that need both straight-line stability and tight-corner manoeuvrability. Buyers who need a different wheel diameter, a lighter-duty plastic wheel or a stem mounting pattern should look at other options.

1000 lbs Per Wheel Load Capacity

Each caster is rated for 1000 lbs, so the limiting factor for any build is the single-wheel capacity rather than the set total. The double ball bearing raceway reduces starting and rolling effort, while the non-marking polyurethane absorbs shock and rolls quietly on concrete, epoxy or tile.

Questions about this item

How often will the double ball bearings in these casters need grease or replacement?

The double ball bearings are sealed and designed for maintenance-free life, so no scheduled greasing or replacement is required under normal use.

What is the first limit reached when the 1000 lbs per wheel load is applied continuously?

The 5.5 mm galvanised steel bracket and top plate are rated to the same 1000 lbs capacity, so the structural limit and the wheel load limit are reached together.

How much heat or noise do the polyurethane wheels produce during all-day rolling on concrete?

The non-marking polyurethane tread absorbs shock and rolls silently, generating negligible heat and no audible noise even after hours of continuous use.
