Heavy-duty mobility kit

This set supplies four 8-inch swivel casters built for industrial and commercial equipment. Each unit carries a 1100 lb load rating, making the kit suitable for flight cases, display racks, light machinery, cabinets and furniture that must move safely under heavy weight.

Smooth rolling and secure lock

High-quality non-marking rubber wheels absorb shock and vibration while rolling silently to protect floor surfaces. The top plate uses premium steel balls for 360° rotation, and the dual-lock brake engages both wheel and swivel simultaneously for stability when stationary.

Ready-to-mount hardware included

The package contains four complete caster assemblies with 5 mm thickened galvanized steel brackets that resist corrosion and dust. Connecting rods measure 34 mm by 84 mm with a .5 inch bore, allowing direct bolt-on installation without extra parts.

Questions about this item

How do I bolt the 1.34 x 3.3 inch connecting rods to my equipment frame?

Drill holes matching the 0.5 inch bore diameter on the 34 mm × 84 mm plate pattern, use grade-8 bolts with lock washers, and torque to spec — the step most people skip is confirming the plate sits flat before tightening.

Which part of the dual-lock brake wears out first and when should I replace it?

The pedal spring and swivel-lock pin see the most cycles; inspect monthly and replace the brake assembly if the wheel still rolls or the caster still swivels when the pedal is fully depressed.

At what load does the 5 mm galvanized bracket start to deflect under constant weight?

Each caster is rated for 1100 lb; sustained loads near that limit on the 5 mm steel bracket will show the first measurable deflection, so plan for a safety margin below the rated capacity.
