Six-pair drawer slide kit

This kit contains six pairs of 24 inch side-mount rails built from carbon steel. Each pair supports up to 100 lbs and reaches full extension for complete drawer access. The soft-close mechanism shuts drawers quietly without slamming. Supplied ST 3.5 x 11 self-tapping screws are included for installation.

Soft-close and hardware bundle

The integrated soft-close dampers eliminate noise and reduce wear on cabinet frames during repeated use. Ball-bearing tracks provide smooth travel across the full 23.74 inch slide length. The included screw set matches the pre-drilled hole pattern so no separate fastener purchase is required.

Cabinet makers and DIY refitters

Suitable for workshops, kitchen refits or workshop storage where heavy drawers need reliable, quiet operation. Not suited for drawers shorter or longer than 24 inches, for loads exceeding 100 lbs per pair, or for undermount or centre-mount mounting styles.

Questions about this item

Will the ball-bearing mechanism on the 4605S2.600-6 slides need lubrication over time?

The carbon-steel ball-bearing tracks are designed to run dry; no periodic lubrication is required, though keeping the rails free of dust helps maintain smooth travel.

What limits the 100 lb load rating on these 24 inch slides during continuous daily opening?

The 100 lb / 45.4 kg rating is the maximum static capacity; sustained heavy use at that weight will eventually wear the ball bearings and soft-close dampers before the carbon-steel rails themselves deform.

Do the soft-close dampers on the 603 mm slides generate noticeable heat or noise when the drawer is cycled all day?

The soft-close mechanism operates passively with no power draw, producing only a faint click at the end of travel and no measurable heat during repeated cycles.
