28-inch 4-Claw Log Tongs

The VEVOR 4SC28 is a heavy-duty steel grapple designed for lifting and skidding logs, wire mesh and hay bales. It attaches to tractors, forklifts or trucks via a 360-degree rotating hook. The four-prong eagle claw design digs into material for a secure hold. Forestry and farm operators needing a robust mechanical grip will find it suitable.

24 to 28-inch adjustable grip with 2650 lbs capacity

The tongs open from 24 inches (609 mm) up to a maximum of 28 inches (710 mm), accommodating a range of log diameters. Static load capacity is rated at 2650 lbs (1202 kg) while dynamic load capacity is 2650 lbs (998 kg). The 45# steel construction handles heavy loads, but the fixed opening range limits use on very small or oversized material.

360-degree rotating hook included

The package supplies the log lifting tongs with an integrated swivel hook that rotates fully. This allows the operator to reorient the load without disconnecting the implement. No additional chains, slings or hydraulic fittings are provided, so the buyer must supply any auxiliary rigging required for their specific machine.

Questions about this item

Will the 28-inch maximum opening handle the same logs my current grapple manages?

The tongs adjust from 24 to 28 inches, so any log that fits within that range can be gripped securely.

How can I confirm the 360-degree rotating hook moves freely after mounting?

Attach the hook to your loader; it should rotate a full 360 degrees under light load without sticking.

Does the 13.6 kg package include chains or shackles, or must I supply them?

The box contains only the log lifting tongs; any rigging hardware is purchased separately.
