Product identity

The VEVOR 4SSM5/12 is a 2 HP, 230 V deep-well submersible pump built for 4-inch or larger casings. It delivers up to 37 GPM at 427 ft head using twelve thermoplastic impeller stages and includes a 33 ft power cord with US plug.

Installation notes

The unit weighs enough to require two people or a hoist for lowering into the well; the 1-1/4 inch NPT discharge threads directly into standard drop pipe. Ensure the cord slack is secured so the plug stays above water and the pump does not hang from the cable.

Pre-purchase checks

Verify your well casing is at least 4 inches inner diameter and that the static water level plus drawdown does not exceed the 427 ft head rating. Confirm a 230 V, 60 Hz, 1500 W circuit with proper grounding is available at the wellhead.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the pump is delivering the rated 37GPM flow and 427 ft head after installation?

Measure the discharge pressure and flow rate at the outlet; they should match the 37GPM maximum flow and 427 ft maximum head specifications under normal operating conditions.

What components are included and what must I purchase separately for a complete installation?

The box contains the submersible pump and a 33 ft electric cord with US plug; you will need to supply discharge piping, a check valve, electrical wiring to the control box, and any well seal or torque arrestor required by your well casing.

Which discharge size and voltage version should I select for a 4-inch well casing running on 230V power?

Choose the 1-1/4" NPT discharge model rated for 230V/60Hz; it fits 4-inch or larger casings and matches the 2HP motor specifications.
