Capacity and Purpose

This steel rifle cabinet stores up to eight long guns on two adjustable, detachable racks. Three included ammunition boxes keep rounds organised, while a removable shelf adds space for accessories. The unit targets homeowners who need secure, upright storage for rifles and shotguns without a full-size walk-in safe.

Installation and Common Issues

Four wall anchors, a screwdriver and a glove ship in the box for concrete or stud mounting. The cabinet weighs 28.9 kg, so two people should lift and position it. The external battery box prevents lock-outs when internal cells run flat, and two emergency keys provide mechanical backup if the keypad fails.

Locking Mechanism

A nine-digit keypad accepts programmable codes of three to eight digits and auto-locks on door closure. Five consecutive wrong entries trigger a 30-second alarm, as does violent impact. Pressing 11# activates silent mode for discreet opening. Bolts measure 22 mm diameter and 30 mm throw for strong engagement.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the 9-digit keypad and alarm are working after mounting the 1320 mm tall safe?

Enter your 3-8 digit code; the 22 mm bolts should extend smoothly. Close the door to trigger auto-lock. Test the alarm by entering five wrong codes — a 30-second siren sounds. Press 11# to verify silent mode mutes the keypad beeps.

What ships inside the box for the SS-1320CZ and what must I source myself?

Included: safe, 2 emergency keys, manual, 2 adjustable gun racks, removable shelf, 4 wall anchors, glove, screwdriver, 5 hooks, external power box, and 3 ammo boxes (273x44x44.7 mm). No separate purchase is required for mounting hardware.

Which capacity choice fits my collection — the 6-8 rifle rating or the 2-gun-stock layout?

The cabinet holds up to 8 long guns on the adjustable racks; the 2-gun-stock figure refers to the dedicated stock slots. Choose the 8-rifle configuration if you need maximum barrel space, or use the removable shelf and 5 hooks for handguns and gear instead.
