Questions about this item

Will the stainless steel 201 boards resist corrosion or need refinishing later?

The 201-grade stainless steel resists rust under normal road exposure; occasional washing and a yearly coat of automotive wax will keep the finish intact without refinishing.

At 500 lbs total load capacity, what fails first if the limit is exceeded daily?

The mounting brackets and M8/M6 fasteners are the structural limit; sustained overload will bend brackets or stretch bolts before the step surface itself deforms.

Do the 82.3-inch boards transmit noticeable road vibration or heat into the cab?

The 39.6 lb steel construction dampens vibration, and the open-step design prevents heat buildup; no measurable heat or noise enters the cabin during all-day driving.
