8-inch Bench Grinder for Workshops

The VEVOR 8-inch bench grinder is built for DIYers and mechanics who need reliable sharpening and grinding at a fixed 3450 RPM. A 350W 3.0A induction motor provides steady torque for shaping tools, removing burrs and smoothing metal surfaces in a home or light-industrial setting.

Dual 36/60-Grit Wheels Handle Coarse and Fine Work

The left 36-grit wheel removes material quickly while the right 60-grit wheel refines edges on knives, chisels and axes. Brown fused alumina construction resists wear, but the single-speed design limits flexibility for delicate materials that demand slower rotation.

Steel Plate Body with Adjustable Shields and Water

A steel plate frame and die-cast aluminium base keep the unit stable at 24.3 lbs. Clear eye shields adjust to multiple angles and mounting screws secure the grinder to a bench. Integrated work rests and a water tray support consistent cooling during extended sessions.

Questions about this item

Will the 350 W induction motor trip a standard 120 V 15 A workshop circuit alongside other tools?

The grinder draws 3.0 A at 120 V, leaving ample headroom on a 15 A circuit for additional equipment.

How can I confirm the 3450 RPM speed is correct after assembly?

The motor runs at a fixed 3450 RPM; listen for smooth, vibration-free operation and verify the 36-grit and 60-grit wheels spin true.

Does the package include the 8-inch 36/60-grit wheels, eye shields and water tray, or must I buy them separately?

The box contains the grinder, both wheels, two eye shields with brackets, left and right work rests, two locking nuts, mounting screws and a water tray.
