96-Inch 8-Blade Ceiling Fan

This 96-inch ceiling fan uses a reversible DC motor rated at 54 W to move up to 13000 CFM. Eight aluminum blades run at a maximum of 72 RPM while producing 42 dB of noise. A supplied remote controls six speeds, a 1/2/4/8-hour timer and upward or downward airflow direction.

Replaces Smaller Fans in Large Spaces

The wide blade span and high airflow suit open-plan living rooms, covered patios or commercial areas where standard fans cannot circulate enough air. The jump is worth it when a single fixture must replace multiple smaller units and the ceiling can support a 30.64 lb assembly.

Three Downrods Simplify Height Matching

The box includes 6-inch, 10-inch and 20-inch downrods so the installer can set the fan at 13.79, 17.79 or 27.79 inches from the ceiling without extra parts. A mounting bracket is integrated into the remote holder; the only common issue is forgetting to buy batteries for the remote.

Questions about this item

What ceiling height and downrod length does the 96-inch fan need to fit?

The fan spans 95.67 inches wide. Three downrods are included: 6-inch, 10-inch and 20-inch, giving overall heights of 13.79, 17.79 and 27.79 inches respectively. Choose the rod that keeps blades at least seven feet above the floor.

How is the reversible DC motor wired during installation, and what step is often missed?

Connect the fan’s black, white and green leads to the matching supply wires, then secure the canopy. The step many skip is pairing the remote to the receiver after power is restored — hold the remote’s pair button until the fan beeps.

What maintenance will the 8-blade aluminum fan need over time?

Dust the blades quarterly to maintain the 13000 CFM airflow and 42 dB noise level. The remote uses two AAA batteries (not supplied); replace them when response slows. The sealed DC motor requires no lubrication.
