Aerial Hammock for All Fitness Levels

This 11 yard green nylon hammock kit supports aerial yoga, antigravity fitness and bodybuilding practice. The 100gsm fabric weighs 3.9 kg and measures 10 by 2.8 metres when laid flat. Included steel carabiners, daisy chains, a figure-8 joint and an aluminium swivel joint allow quick rigging on a variety of ceiling heights. A user manual and yoga socks complete the package for immediate use.

Fabric Strength and Comfort in Use

The 100gsm nylon weave delivers a thick, soft hand-feel that remains comfortable during extended sessions. Its elasticity absorbs movement without harsh rebound, while the 1000 kg rated capacity provides a high safety margin for inversions and spins. No mechanical parts generate noise; the hardware hangs silently once installed. Power draw is not applicable for this passive fabric and metal assembly.

Behaviour Under Sustained Load

During long holds or repeated dynamic sequences the fabric maintains its stretch characteristics without permanent deformation. The steel carabiners and aluminium swivel resist fatigue across multiple sessions, and the daisy chains keep their adjustment integrity. The 8.6 lb total kit weight stays manageable for transport between rigging points. No thermal or electrical limits apply to this non-powered equipment.

Questions about this item

How do I install the aerial yoga hammock kit and what step do people often get wrong?

Attach the aluminum swivel joint to a load-rated ceiling anchor, then connect the figure-8 joint, daisy chains, and steel carabiners to the 10 x 2.8 m nylon fabric; the step most often missed is verifying the anchor can hold the 1000 kg max load before clipping the swivel.

What maintenance or replacement will the hammock kit need over time?

Inspect the 100gsm nylon fabric, daisy chains, steel carabiners, figure-8 joint, and aluminum swivel joint before every session; replace any component that shows fraying, gate deformation, or corrosion to maintain the 2204.62 lbs rated capacity.

What limit appears first during sustained or repeated use of the hammock?

The 1000 kg maximum load capacity is the primary limit; exceeding it risks fabric tear or hardware failure, so keep total dynamic force within that rating during extended inversions, spins, or multi-user sessions.
