What the bench is and who it serves

The VEVOR bamboo shower bench is a freestanding seat with a lower storage shelf, built from natural bamboo coated for water resistance. It supports up to 330 lbs, making it suitable for adults, seniors or anyone needing stable seating in a wet environment. The slatted top promotes drainage and quick drying.

Limits of the materials and design

Bamboo swells if standing water is left on the surface, so the bench must be wiped dry after each use. The adjustable rubber feet compensate for uneven floors but cannot correct a slope greater than the thread travel. The shelf holds light toiletries; it is not rated for heavy bottles or stacked items.

Assembly experience and common issues

All hardware is stainless steel: hex bolts M6*34, self-tapping screws M5*29, gaskets, springs and an Allen wrench are included. The legs, seat and shelf bolt together in a fixed sequence; misaligning the wedge-shaped braces before tightening causes wobble. Over-tightening the self-tapping screws can split the bamboo slats.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 19.1 x 11.3 x 18.3 in bench or a different size for my shower?

This model measures 19.1 x 11.3 x 18.3 in overall with a 19.0 x 10.1 in seat and a 17.3 x 9.1 in shelf, so check those dimensions against your available floor space.

What does the 330 lbs capacity mean when I actually sit on it?

The frame is rated for 330 lbs / 149.7 kg and uses reinforced panels under the seat, wedge-shaped leg braces and externally secured shelf screws to handle that load while seated or standing.

How do the adjustable rubber feet work on a wet, uneven floor?

Six stainless-steel and rubber feet with M6*34 bolts let you level the bench independently on each corner, keeping it stable on sloped or irregular shower bases.
