Product Identity

The VEVOR BBQ Access Door is a 28 by 19 inch double stainless steel flush-mount door built for outdoor kitchen islands and grilling stations. It provides a clean, recessed-handle entry point to cabinet storage behind a finished wall surface.

Fit and Exclusions

This door suits builders completing a masonry or framed BBQ island who need a vertical access panel with a 25 by 16 inch rough opening. It does not suit projects requiring a single-door layout, a non-flush surface mount, or a cut-out smaller than 625 by 398 millimetres.

Included Hardware

The package supplies one outdoor kitchen door and one accessory set for installation. These parts enable immediate mounting once the opening is prepared to the specified 25 by 16 inch dimensions with the recommended 0.08 inch clearance.

Questions about this item

What cut-out size must my BBQ island already have for the 28 x 19 inch door to fit?

The installation cut-out is 25 x 16 inches (625 x 398 mm); add an extra 0.08 inch (2 mm) clearance all round for smooth operation.

Will the 2-inch deep stainless frame sit flush against my existing island cladding?

Yes, the 45 mm deep frame is designed for flush-mount installation so the outer face aligns with the surrounding surface.

How can I confirm the door seals properly after mounting?

Close the double leaves — the recessed handles should sit flush and the U-shaped panel edges should meet evenly with no visible gaps.
