Precision Fit for Outdoor Islands

This stainless steel access door measures 31 inches wide by 24 inches high with a 45 mm depth. The flush-mount design requires a 28 by 21 inch cut-out plus a 0.08 inch clearance for smooth operation. It is built for BBQ islands, grilling stations and exterior cabinetry where a clean, integrated appearance matters.

Suits Permanent Outdoor Installations

The rust-proof, waterproof stainless construction withstands year-round weather without corrosion or sharp edges. Builders who need a single small hatch or a non-flush surface-mount door should look at other configurations, as this unit is sized for a full-height vertical opening in a masonry or framed island.

Holds Up Under Continuous Exposure

The 5.1 kg seamless U-shaped panel resists warping and water ingress through repeated heating and cooling cycles. Recessed handles stay cool and keep the face flat, so the door maintains its alignment and finish even after seasons of daily use in direct sun and rain.

Questions about this item

What rough opening must I cut in my BBQ island for the 31x24 inch door to fit flush?

Cut an opening of 28x21 inches (701x524 mm) and add an extra 0.08 inch (2 mm) clearance all round for smooth operation.

Can the 31x24 inch stainless door be mounted next to a masonry wall without warping?

The 45 mm thick U-shaped stainless panel and seamless frame resist heat and moisture, so it stays flat against brick or block.

How do I confirm the door is seated correctly after installation?

The recessed handles should sit flush with the island face and the door should swing freely with an even 2 mm gap all round.
