Brass Clamp-Style NPT Adapter Set

This 25-piece brass fitting kit provides clamp-style male threaded connectors for half-inch PEX and PP pipes. It suits installers working on hydronic heating, potable water lines, air-conditioning circuits or RV distribution systems. Each coupler accepts the same tube diameter for straight pipe-to-pipe or pipe-to-fitting joins.

Build Integration with 100 PSI Rating

The C46500 brass couplers measure 24.5 by 36 millimetres and weigh 0.89 kilograms as a full kit. They thread directly onto half-inch NPT ports without solder or glue, freeing bench space and eliminating flux residue. Included stainless clamps secure the joint once the tube is pushed home, so no crimp tool is required for the connection.

Sustained Pressure and Temperature Behaviour

Rated for continuous operation at 100 psi and 82 °C, the lead-free brass resists dezincification and stress-corrosion cracking over long heating cycles. The clamp mechanism maintains seal integrity through thermal expansion and vibration without relaxation. Fittings can be removed with a pipe puller and reused on the same tube size.

Questions about this item

How long will the brass hold up at the rated 82 °C temperature limit before it starts to degrade?

The C46500 brass is rated for continuous use up to 82 °C and 100 PSI, and the material resists corrosion and passivation at that temperature.

Do the fittings make any noise or generate heat when water runs through them all day?

The solid brass fittings have no moving parts, so they produce no noise and add no measurable heat to the system during constant flow.

What pipe and tools must I already have to install these 1/2-inch clamp-style adapters?

You need 1/2-inch PEX or PP pipe, a compatible clamp tool to secure the 25 included clamps, and standard thread sealant for the NPT male threads.
