Portable ventilator for dust and smoke

This 8 inch cylinder fan moves 1070 CFM at 3450 rpm using a 195 W motor on AC120V 60 Hz power. It is built for workshops, garages and job sites that need to pull airborne dust, fumes or smoke away from the work area quickly.

33 ft duct hose and leakage-protected cord

The bundle includes a 33 ft flexible duct hose that connects to the 11.77 x 9.84 x 12.60 in housing so exhaust can be routed outside or to a filtration point. A 5.9 ft three-pin power cord with integrated leakage protection plugs directly into a standard outlet without extra wiring.

Simple setup with one notable constraint

Place the unit on a stable surface, attach the duct with the supplied clamp, and plug in the 1.8 m cord; the 28.4 lb weight keeps it steady during operation. The 79 dB noise level means hearing protection is advisable for prolonged use, and the 11.02 in width may not fit through narrow crawl-space openings.

Questions about this item

Does the 195 W motor have brushes or bearings that need periodic replacement?

The motor runs at 3450 rpm on AC 120 V 60 Hz; the specifications list no user-serviceable brushes or bearing intervals.

What limits continuous operation first — airflow drop or motor temperature?

Air volume is rated at 1070 CFM at 3450 rpm; no thermal-protection threshold or airflow derating figure is published.

How much heat and noise does the 79 dB blower add to a room after hours of running?

It draws 195 W and emits 79 dB; all electrical input becomes heat, so expect roughly 195 W of warmth plus the stated sound level.
