Compact Cutting Capacity

The VEVOR BW2110 is a cordless band saw built for precise cuts up to 2.56 by 2.56 inches in metal, wood and plastic. Its brushless motor runs on a 20 V platform and includes an LED sight light for clear visibility on dim work surfaces.

Sustained Cutting Behaviour

The brushless motor maintains steady torque through the 0 to 192 m/min variable speed range without the heat buildup common in brushed units. Sparkless cutting reduces surface damage during long sessions, and the 360 W rating supports continuous operation on demanding materials such as steel and angle iron.

Upgrade Context

This bare-tool saw replaces heavier corded portabands for tradespeople who need grab-and-go mobility on ladders or in tight enclosures. The jump is worthwhile when cutting volume justifies a 20 V battery ecosystem but the 2.56 inch throat limits work on larger structural sections.

Questions about this item

How loud and hot does the brushless motor get during extended use at 192 m/min?

The brushless motor runs sparkless and delivers smooth cuts without rough edges, reducing friction heat. Its compact ADC12 and PA6-GF30 housing weighs 3.85 kg, aiding heat dissipation during all-day operation.

What battery and charger must I already own to run this bare-tool unit?

You need a compatible 20 V DC battery pack and charger; the saw ships without either. The motor draws 360 W, so choose a pack rated for that continuous load.

Will the 835 mm blade and 65 mm capacity handle the same steel and PVC stock my older corded bandsaw cuts?

Yes — the 25.4/18 T blade cuts steel, aluminum, cables, angle iron and PVC up to 65 × 65 mm at 0-192 m/min, matching typical corded portaband capacities.
