8 L Portable Compressor Fridge

This single-zone cooler holds 8 L and runs from 12 V or 24 V DC in a vehicle and from 100 V to 240 V AC at a campsite or home. It is aimed at drivers, campers and boaters who need a compact fridge that works on the move and at base camp without relying on ice.

Temperature Range and Power Limits

The adjustable range spans -20 °C to 20 °C, reaching the lowest setting in about one hour at 77 °F ambient. Operation is rated up to a 45-degree tilt, so it keeps cooling on uneven ground. The compressor draws 45 W and runs at 45 dB, making it practical for quiet overnight use.

Capacity and Practical Headroom

The 8 L cavity fits eight 330 ml cans or eight 550 ml bottles, covering drinks, snacks and small cuts of meat for short trips. It is not suited for weekly grocery loads or tall bottles that exceed the internal height. Buyers needing more volume or a second temperature zone should look at larger dual-zone models.
