Desk Coverage with Extended Lip

This 36 x 48 inch clear PET chair mat includes a 20.08 inch long edge and a 12.05 inch height lip that slides under the desk. It suits home-office workers who need full floor protection on low-pile carpet while keeping wheels on a smooth surface. The transparent frosted finish blends with existing décor without drawing attention.

Unroll and Position on Carpet

Lay the mat flat with the studded side down; the 2.2 mm thick PET sheet settles quickly and the 3.1 kg weight helps it stay put. No adhesives or tools are required, though cold temperatures can leave a temporary curl that relaxes after a few hours at room temperature. Ensure the carpet pile is short so the studs grip effectively.

Daily Rolling Under Sustained Use

The PET material resists cracking and deformation from repeated chair movement across the 915 x 1222 mm surface. Studs maintain their hold on low-pile carpet during long work sessions, preventing the mat from creeping. Surface wipes clean easily, so spills and dust do not degrade glide quality over time.

Questions about this item

How do I know the mat is gripping the low-pile carpet properly after I unroll it?

The studded back should keep the mat from shifting when you roll your chair; if it stays flat and does not slide during normal use, the grip is working as intended.

What comes in the box and do I need to buy anything else for installation?

The package contains only the chair mat itself; no additional hardware or accessories are required for use on low-pile carpet.

Which size should I choose for a standard desk footprint?

This model measures 36 x 48 inches with a 20.08-inch long edge, 12.05-inch height and 7.99-inch short edge, covering a typical under-desk area.
