Capacity and Compatibility

The VEVOR Dog Bike Trailer PTS102 carries pets up to 100 lbs in a cabin measuring 31.9 x 21.9 x 25.2 in. It attaches to bicycles with wheel sizes from 22 to 28 in. Riders needing a higher load limit or a wider wheel range will need a different solution.

Handling and Stability

The carbon steel frame and 600D Oxford fabric body keep the structure rigid when fully loaded at 45 kg. The low centre of gravity and wide 28.3 in track help the trailer track straight behind the bike on long rides. Sudden high-speed cornering with maximum weight can still induce noticeable sway.

Weather Protection and Storage

The water resistant fabric shields occupants from road spray and light rain during everyday use. Ventilation panels maintain airflow without letting in heavy moisture. When folded to 31.2 x 24 x 8.1 in the unit fits in most car boots for transport and storage.

Questions about this item

Does the 12 kg frame and 600D fabric stay stable in wind when the trailer runs all day?

The carbon steel frame and 600D Oxford fabric keep the 100 lb capacity steady during long rides; the included warning flag adds visibility in crosswinds.

My bicycle has 26 inch wheels — will the supplied hitch fit without extra parts?

The hitch fits 22 to 28 inch wheels directly, so a 26 inch bike needs no additional adapter.

Can I keep my current 24 inch wheel bike and still fold the trailer into the 31.2 x 24 x 8.1 in package?

Yes, the hitch covers 22 to 28 inch wheels and the trailer folds to 31.2 x 24 x 8.1 in regardless of the bike size.
