Drop-In Ice Chest 82.4 QT Capacity

The VEVOR drop-in ice chest provides 82.4 quarts of insulated storage for ice and chilled beverages. Its stainless steel construction suits commercial bars, outdoor kitchens, and high-volume entertaining. The unit fits into a prepared countertop cut-out and includes a cover, drain pipe, and filter assembly kit. No electrical connection is required for operation.

Suited for Permanent Installations Needing Long

This chest serves venues that need ice ready for 24 hours without power. It is not suited for mobile catering where a powered cooler would maintain temperature indefinitely. Buyers without a fixed countertop opening should consider freestanding alternatives. The 17.9 kg weight requires a sturdy supporting structure.

Straightforward Drop-In Setup With Drain Planning

Installation consists of lowering the unit into a cut-out and connecting the supplied drain pipe to a waste outlet. The filter mesh prevents ice cubes from entering the drainage line. The most common issue is an undersized drain slope that slows water evacuation. Ensure the drain plug seals fully before filling to avoid leaks.

Questions about this item

What countertop cut-out dimensions do I need to drop the 21"L x 17"W ice chest into my outdoor kitchen?

The unit measures 21 inches long by 17 inches wide, so the cut-out must match those external dimensions for a flush fit.

Will the SUS304 interior and SUS201 exterior resist corrosion if I keep it next to my older stainless steel sink?

Yes, the interior uses SUS304 and the exterior SUS201 stainless steel, both rust-resistant grades that hold up alongside existing stainless fixtures.

How can I verify the bin is still insulating properly after I install the filter assembly kit?

Fill it with ice, close the lid, and confirm the contents stay frozen for the rated 24 hours; the filter kit drains melt water without letting cubes escape.
