SUS201 Stainless Build With Flip Lid And Drain

The body, lid and inner liner are formed from SUS201 stainless steel with a fully welded interior that resists leaks and rust. A flip lid seals the insulated cavity while an included drain-pipe set removes melt-water quickly to keep the compartment dry.

Passive Insulation Limited To 24 Hours

Three-layer insulation with a cotton core keeps contents cold for over 24 hours without power, so the chest cannot maintain temperature indefinitely during multi-day use. Buyers needing continuous refrigeration or active cooling must look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How long does the SUS201 stainless-steel chest keep ice cold without electricity?

The three-layer insulation with a cotton core and flip lid provides over 24 hours of cooling without any power.

What cut-out size is needed for the 27.95 x 15.98 inch flange?

The inner cavity measures 25.28 x 13.31 inches, so the countertop opening should match those dimensions for a flush drop-in fit.

How is the drain-pipe set connected during installation?

Attach the supplied filter-style drain pipe to the outlet on the fully welded interior; the step often missed is securing the hose clamp to prevent leaks.
