Soldering fume extractor for workshop air quality

The VEVOR DX2000 is a 275W brushless soldering fume extractor rated at 380m³/h airflow. It targets soldering, laser engraving and DIY welding users who need to remove smoke, dust and harmful gases from their immediate workspace.

Thermals noise and power in normal use

The unit draws 275W and operates at a stated 68 dB noise level. A stepless knob provides 10 adjustable speed levels so suction can be matched to the smoke load. Motor lifespan is rated at 10000 hours of continuous running.

Dual hose kit and filter set expand placement

Included are two 1 m exhaust pipes, two black exhaust hoods, five primary filter cartridges (one pre-installed), an exhaust port plug, a power cord and a user manual. The 4-stage filtration uses pre-filter cotton, two PP filter cotton layers and an activated carbon stage to capture particles and gases.

Questions about this item

How do I install the DX2000 fume extractor, and which step is often missed?

Connect the two 1 m exhaust pipes to the unit using the supplied black exhaust hoods, plug in the power cord, and fit the exhaust port plug if only one hose is used; the step often missed is inserting the plug so suction is not split between both ports.

What maintenance will the DX2000 need, and when?

The 4-stage filter set includes a pre-filter cotton, two PP filter cotton layers, and an activated carbon layer; replace the primary filter cartridges when airflow drops or odour returns — five cartridges are supplied (one pre-installed).

What limit appears first during long soldering sessions with the DX2000?

The motor is rated for 10000 hours of operation; continuous running at the highest of the 10 speed levels produces 68 dB noise and 380 m³/h airflow, so filter saturation usually becomes the practical limit before motor wear.
