Questions about this item

What maintenance will the carbon steel arm and security latches need over time?

The carbon steel construction with a moisture-resistant coating reduces corrosion, while the security latches keep components locked in place; periodic inspection of the latches and re-coating any scratched surfaces will maintain the 300 kg main tube and 150 kg extension tube ratings.

Which capacity limit is reached first when the arm is fully extended at 365 mm under daily lifting?

At the full 365 mm extension the small square tube is rated for 150 kg, so that limit is reached before the main tube's 300 kg capacity.

How much noise and heat does the arm produce during all-day workshop use?

The arm has no motor or electronics, so it generates no operational noise or heat; only the attached hoist contributes sound and power draw.
