Clear 48-Inch Round PVC Cover

This 1.5 mm thick transparent protector shields a 48 inch round surface from scratches, stains, watermarks and heat up to 80 °C. The PVC material is food-safe and offers slip resistance for daily use on dining tables, desks or coffee tables. A single cover weighs 2.05 kg and arrives ready to lay flat.

Suited for round tops needing spill and heat defence

Home owners who want to preserve wood or laminate finishes while keeping the original colour visible will appreciate the clear design. It is not intended for rectangular or oval tables, for surfaces wider than 1230 mm, or for environments exceeding 176 °F where the material could deform.

Behaviour under sustained load

The 1.5 mm PVC layer maintains its shape and clarity when hot dishes up to 80 °C rest on it for extended periods. Waterproof construction prevents liquid penetration during long meals, and the surface resists abrasion from repeated wiping without clouding or thinning.

Questions about this item

What table diameter is this 48 inch cover designed to fit?

The cover measures 48 inch or 1230 mm in diameter and is intended for round tables of that size.

Will the 1.5 mm PVC withstand heat from a hot mug left on an older wooden table?

The material resists temperatures up to 80 °C or 176 °F, so a hot mug will not damage the cover or the surface beneath.

How can I confirm the cover lies flat and stays in place after unrolling?

The 1.5 mm thickness and 4.52 lb weight give it enough body to settle without curling, and the PVC surface grips the table to prevent sliding.
