Rug dimensions and use

This VEVOR area rug measures 7.5 by 9.5 feet with a thickness of .24 inch. The 360g faux cashmere surface provides a soft feel underfoot while the TPR backing adds tear resistance. It suits bedrooms, living rooms, offices and entryways where a vintage brown green style is desired.

Material and daily practicality

The rug weighs 16.76 lbs and uses a non-slip TPR backing that helps it stay in place on hard floors. Faux cashmere construction allows machine washing for easy maintenance. Pet friendly design resists claw damage and cleans up after spills without special treatments.

Thermal comfort and stability

The 6 mm pile adds a modest layer of insulation against cold floors without raising tripping hazards. Dense faux cashmere and TPR backing combine to dampen footfall noise in busy rooms. The construction remains stable through regular vacuuming and washing cycles.

Questions about this item

What backing material provides the non-slip grip on the 7.5 x 9.5 ft rug?

The rug uses a TPR backing layer that grips the floor to keep the 2286 x 2896 mm surface in place.

How much clearance should I allow for the 6 mm thickness when placing furniture?

At 0.24 inch thick the rug sits low, so most furniture legs clear it without catching on the edges.

Can the 360 g faux cashmere surface be machine washed without damaging the backing?

Yes, the rug is designed to be washable; follow the manual's cold-cycle instructions to protect the TPR layer.
