Copper fire glass for fire pits

VEVOR supplies 10 lbs of copper reflective crushed tempered glass sized at 1/2 in or 12.7 mm. The material is made from quartz sand and rated to withstand temperatures up to 1112 °F or 600 °C without cracking or darkening. It produces no smoke, smell or ash during use.

Temperature resistance up to 1112 °F

The glass is tempered for high-temperature durability, making it suitable for gas fire pits and fire tables where sustained heat is present. It hides gas piping while creating a bright flame effect. The crush size of 12.7 mm is the key specification for coverage and airflow.

Suits gas fire pit owners wanting a clean copper

Buyers needing a different colour, a larger or smaller crush size, or a material rated above 1112 °F should look elsewhere. The 10 lb bag covers a limited area, so larger installations will require multiple packs.

Questions about this item

How much area will the 10 lbs of 12.7 mm copper glass cover in my fire pit?

Ten pounds of half-inch tempered glass typically covers roughly one square foot at a two-inch depth, enough to conceal a standard gas burner ring.

What does the 600 °C / 1112 °F rating mean for everyday use?

The glass withstands continuous propane or natural-gas flame temperatures without melting, darkening, or releasing smoke or odour.

Will the 12.7 mm pieces fit through the burner ports on my fire table?

Each crushed fragment measures about half an inch, so it sits above most standard burner holes while still allowing gas to flow freely.
