Aqua Blue Fire Glass 20 lbs

This 20 lb set of Aqua Blue reflective crushed tempered glass is designed for fire pits and fire tables. The 1/2 inch pieces create a vibrant, shimmering layer that enhances flames by day and night. It suits homeowners wanting a clean, decorative media for gas fire features.

High-temperature resistance up to 1112 °F

The tempered quartz sand glass withstands temperatures up to 1112 degrees Fahrenheit (600 °C) without melting, darkening, or producing smoke, smell, or ash. It comfortably handles standard gas fire pit heat but is not intended for wood-burning applications exceeding this limit.

Covers gas pipes with minimal maintenance

The glass hides unsightly gas piping while creating an artistic flame effect. Cleaning requires only a rinse with equal parts water and vinegar, then drying before reuse to prevent cracking. The 9.0 kg package stores compactly when not in use.

Questions about this item

Will the 1/2 in 12.7 mm Aqua Blue glass pieces sit evenly alongside my existing lava rock in a gas fire pit?

The 12.7 mm crushed tempered glass is sized to layer uniformly; it can be poured over or mixed with coarser media such as lava rock without creating large gaps.

How can I confirm the glass is withstanding the flame temperature after installation?

The tempered quartz-sand glass is rated to 1112 °F / 600 °C; if the pieces remain clear, free of soot, and show no melting or darkening during use, they are performing within specification.

What exactly comes in the package and is any additional media required?

The box contains one 20 lb / 9.0 kg set of Aqua Blue fire glass, a user manual, and a tag; no extra glass or additives are included, so purchase additional bags only if your fire feature needs more volume.
