Vibrant Cobalt Blue fire glass

The VEVOR Cobalt Blue fire glass comes in a 20 lbs bag of 1/2 inch reflective crushed tempered glass. It is designed for fire pit tables and landscaping where a clean, smokeless flame effect is wanted. The intense colour shines by day and flickers warmly at night, adding a luxurious touch to indoor or outdoor settings.

Replaces ceramic logs or lava rock

Unlike traditional media, this tempered glass produces no smoke, no odour and no ash, so the fire feature stays clean. The jump is worth it when you want a modern look that hides gas pipes while delivering a brilliant, reflective flame pattern without the mess of organic materials.

Withstands sustained 1112 °F / 600 °C heat

Made from quartz sand using special tempering, the glass resists cracking or darkening during long burns. It maintains its high luster through repeated heating cycles, and a simple rinse with water and vinegar restores the clear glow after cooling.

Questions about this item

How much fire glass is needed to cover a burner area that is 8.27 inches wide?

The 20 lb bag of 12.7 mm Cobalt Blue tempered glass provides enough volume to conceal gas pipes and create a reflective layer over a burner up to 8.27 inches wide.

What is the correct way to clean the glass after installation without causing thermal shock?

Rinse the tempered glass pieces with a 1:1 water and vinegar solution, then let them dry completely before lighting the fire pit to avoid cracking from trapped moisture.

When should the Cobalt Blue fire glass be replaced due to heat exposure?

The glass is rated to 1112 °F or 600 °C and will not darken or crack under normal use; replace only if pieces become physically broken or heavily soiled beyond cleaning.
