600 ft Fiberglass Duct Rodder

This VEVOR fish tape combines a 600 ft fiberglass core with ABS reinforcement and a 5/16 in diameter. The non-conductive rod resists rust and aging while withstanding 10 KN of pulling pressure. A welded steel reel stand with a top handle provides stable, portable cable management for electrical contractors and datacom installers.

Suits long conduit pulls and wall fishing

The 182.88 m length serves projects that require extended reach through underground duct or multi-storey chases. The marked scale every 2 ft aids precise length tracking. Buyers who only need short runs inside a single room or who prefer a lighter hand-held coil will find this unit excessive.

Steel stand, brake and three heads change

The full-metal frame keeps the reel upright on uneven ground and the extended brake handle lets one person control payout speed. Three interchangeable metal pulling heads adapt to different wire bundles without extra purchases. Included cotton gloves protect hands during long pulling sessions.

Questions about this item

What conduit diameter is required for the 5/16 in fiberglass rod to pass through?

The rod measures 5/16 in (7.9 mm) in diameter, so the conduit internal diameter must exceed this size to allow the duct rodder to push through smoothly.

Can the fiberglass rod be used alongside existing steel fish tapes without causing galvanic corrosion?

The cable material combines galvanized steel tube with fiberglass and ABS, and the rod itself is non-conductive, so it will not create a galvanic cell when stored or used with traditional steel tapes.

How do I verify the 2 ft markings are accurate after the first pull?

Extend the rod fully alongside a measured 600 ft distance; each surface mark should align with every 2 ft increment, confirming the length calibration is correct.
