42-Inch Unheated Air Curtain

The VEVOR FM150-1050-U is a 42-inch commercial air curtain designed for doorways between 85.83 and 104.33 inches high. It delivers 1350 CFM at 120V to create an air barrier that blocks dust, insects and temperature loss. The unit suits retail entrances, restaurants and warehouses needing climate separation without supplemental heat.

Magnetic Switches and Mounting Hardware

Two magnetic door switches activate the fan only when the door opens, supporting both swinging and sliding doors. The package includes three bracket plates plus M4 and M6 machine screws, nuts and wood screws for direct wall mounting. These parts let installers secure the 41.34-inch wide housing without fabricating custom brackets.

Suited for Standard Commercial Doors

This model fits single-leaf doors up to 104.33 inches tall where unheated airflow is preferred. Facilities with taller openings, curved entries or a requirement for heated air should evaluate other configurations. Buyers needing integrated thermostats or remote speed control will not find those functions on this unit.

Questions about this item

How often should the motor bearings on the FM150-1050-U be lubricated or replaced?

The unit uses sealed motor bearings that require no lubrication; replacement is only needed if abnormal noise or vibration develops after extended use.

What limits continuous operation at the 1350 CFM high-speed setting?

The motor thermal overload protection will cycle the fan off if internal temperatures exceed safe limits during prolonged high-speed runs.

What is the actual noise level in decibels when running all day on low speed?

The manufacturer describes low-speed noise as comparable to a residential setting but does not publish a decibel figure for this model.
