Questions about this item

What inner diameter and wire diameter must the garage door shaft match for these 0.25 x 2 x 32 in springs to fit?

The springs require a 2 inch inner diameter and a 0.25 inch wire diameter to mount correctly on the shaft.

How do I identify which spring goes on the left and right, and what tool prevents winding-bar slippage during installation?

Each spring is imprinted with left/right labels; use the included anti-slip winding bars to wind the coils safely.

After roughly 16,000 open-close cycles, what components typically need replacement?

The torsion springs themselves are rated for 16,000 cycles and should be replaced as a pair when they reach that limit.
