A 25 lb cast-steel anvil with a single horn, 50 HRC hardness, 70% rebound and precision pritchel and hardy holes for metal shaping
This single horn anvil is a cast steel forging tool built for blacksmiths and metalworkers who need a stable surface for bending, shaping and twisting metal. It weighs 25 lb (11.5 kg) and measures 7.48 in wide, providing a compact footprint for workshop or bench use.
The anvil is heat treated at 800 to reach 50 HRC, giving strong impact resistance and corrosion protection. A rebound rate above 70 % lets the face return to shape after each strike, reducing repeated work. The thick base and cutting table add stability and protect the main face during cutting tasks.
Made from cast steel, the anvil includes a pritchel hole of .3 in (8 mm) and a square hardy hole of .6 x .6 in (15 x 15 mm) for holding tooling. The single round horn supports curved forming work. Buyers needing a double horn or a heavier anvil for large-scale forging will need a different model.

Bolt the anvil through its base to a solid bench or a dedicated anvil stand; the thick base design resists movement, but it only works when the unit is mechanically fastened, not just set in place.
The heat-treated 50 HRC surface and 70 % rebound rate are built for long-term use; under normal forging the face does not require scheduled resurfacing or replacement.
The square hardy hole accepts shanks up to 0.6 x 0.6 in; larger bottom tools will not fit and that dimensional limit is reached before the anvil's mass or hardness becomes a constraint.
