Shower Wheelchair 17.5in Seat

The VEVOR HFK-3331 is an aluminium-alloy shower wheelchair built for adults who need a stable, rust-proof seat inside the shower. It supports up to 300 lbs and includes a commode opening, removable cushion and safety belt. The frame folds for storage or transport.

Adjustable Backrest and Height

The backrest angle adjusts from 97° to 125° via a press-button mechanism, while seat height moves between 22 and 24 inches. These settings let carers match the chair to different users without tools. The 6061 aluminium frame resists corrosion during daily wet use.

Replaces Fixed Shower Benches

This chair replaces wall-mounted benches or non-wheeled stools when the user needs mobility across the bathroom and a commode function. The upgrade is worth it when transfers require rolling between rooms or when a fold-away design frees floor space. Buyers who need a powered lift mechanism or a narrower frame for tight doorways should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Does the aluminium frame add noticeable weight when the chair is moved around the bathroom all day?

The complete chair weighs 33.69 lbs, so it is light enough to push and reposition without strain during daily use.

What floor space must already be clear for the 22.83-inch overall width to pass through doorways?

The chair measures 22.83 inches wide, so any doorway or corridor needs at least that much clear opening for it to roll through.

Will the 17.5-inch seat width fit the same shower stall opening used by a standard 18-inch commode chair?

The seat is 17.5 inches wide, which is slightly narrower than an 18-inch commode, so it should pass through the same stall opening without issue.
